How To Join

Members of WNYSIP come from a variety of Information Technology Backgrounds.

For an application form, please click here or come to one of our meetings.

Information Professionals who would like to join WNYSIP are encouraged to apply.

Note: All memberships are subject to the WNYSIP Board of Directors for approval.

Some of the benefits to membership include: reduced meal charges from non-members, monthly opportunities to network with information professionals from a variety of companies in WNY, continued professional education through monthly meeting speakers, chapter newsletter, chances to win free training classes, access to the “Members Only” area of our web site, free meals at the December Holiday party and Year-end Awards Banquet in May, and much more.

For new members there are two levels of membership, Member or Student.

Member (Annual Dues $50 US):

Any person engaged in, or having an interest in, systems work or the teaching thereof, shall be eligible to become a member.

Student (Annual Dues $10 US):

Any person registered in an accredited systems course of study, full-time or part-time, at a college, university or similarly accredited post-secondary educational institution and not currently employed on a full-time basis as a systems professional, shall be eligible for membership as a student member.

Your annual dues payment is required to process your application for membership in WNYSIP, please fill out a form and bring to the next meeting.
